This device is a game changer. Extremely simple to use. Works great. Takes some getting used to but once you figure it out it’s unreal.

So nice to be able to pre-pack a bowl to be ready to swap out the one I'm smoking on or, more likely didn't want to take the time to let dry after cleaning...

Wonderful addition to my Xkah Pro because I can smoke on the 1st battery for over 90 minutes and swap out for the 2nd battery and the 1st one is recharged by the time the 2nd is done. All you need to do is make sure you have a high capacity USB-C charger and you can go, and go, and go.

The XKAH gives you ultimate temperature control for up to 110 minutes per battery back (sessions are limited to 90m but you can quick start a new session after the current one ends). It takes a bit of of toing and froing to find the right temperature curve for whatever type or brand of tobacco you are using and hopefully the company will develop a guide. But really the main difference is the impact on taste by not having to use coal, whatever the quality of coal you use. Been using it for 3 w-4 weeks and hope it will prove reliable (so far no issues). It's expensive but if you can afford it's worth it for the taste and if you are planning long on sequential sessions, get a back up battery.

Best gift I ever got to my husband

I have the Xkah since 2 weeks and so far I did 25 sessions. The first 3 were not very good but it got better and better and now I am really exited. You have to play a bit with the temperature and the frequence of the puffs. I have completely stopped smoking in the traditional way. With the Xkah the taste is better en I think it is less unhealthy. The carbon monoxide caused sometimes severe cramp in many of my muscles and this has stopped since I switched.

I mostly smoke Adalya Ladykiller and here is how I get the best results:

-Fill up the cup with 9.5 gram Ladykiller and don't put pressure. It needs to be fluffy.
-Heat up to 300 degrees in custom mode.
-after 8 min pre-heat, start puffing every 50-60 seconds, not faster.
-After 20 minutes set the temperature to 250-260 degrees.
-even after 90 minutes I still have tasty, thick smoke.

Observations:

It takes time after each puff to heat up the cup again.
Don't use a molasses catcher. For some reason you won't get thick smoke.
Some dark molasse drops through the holes on the side. I don't know if it accumulates somewhere inside but it is not possible to open the device to clean it.

Recommendations for future versions:

-Bluetooth support plus an app
-Remote control that you can click or attach to the hose
-Make the battery a little longer so that you can plug in the USB cable during a session
-Show the remaining time plus temperature on the display
-Add an on/off botton on the device
-Add a boost button on the device (or remote control)

I hope the Xkah lasts long, I can highly recommend it!

Overall it's been a great experience learning how to properly use the XKah to my taste buds. The packaging looks nice, however I would suggest getting a stronger plastic to hold the product well. When my product came in the box was ripped in the corner from delivery processing. But everything was there and in tact. For the cost, you'd want it to retain form. However, I will give it to them. The product design is nice, I love the quality of the fork and tongs. The blue velvet travel pouch gives a good feeling. I like how you can separate the base of the xkah so you can wash the non electronical parts. For the 'pods' where you store your flavor i picked up a jewelry cleaner off Amazon to get through the mesh well. Easy clean up. Super easy to set up overall.

Great product in my opinion. Worth the investment for people who want an on go setup without the mess of foil or easy lit coals (we're past that phase). Good for boating, great for picnics, perfect for a lot of places where you don't have access to an outlet for heating up coconara coals. Quick charge via USB C!

Definitely wish i had more money to burn (pun) then I'd get the gold one to match my hookah.

Amazing customer service and the devices works really well. Very impressed by it. Batteries can easily last 2.5 hours and the session itself could get up to 3 hours. After about 2 hours the flavor starts to decline but still big clouds.
